Dr.Evelyn Bak

Dr. Bak is the owner, and founder of Balance Health Group, and is the resident Chiropractor. She successfully earned her Doctorate degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College, following completion of her Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto. Evelyn has also completed Acupuncture training at McMaster University and been trained in  ART© (Active Release Technique), which she utilizes to compliment her chiropractic techniques.

Evelyn takes an integrative approach to chiropractic and believes that creating a balance between physical, psychological and emotional wellness is key in the training, treatment and rehabilitative process. She specializes in providing non-invasive treatment and rehabilitative care to patients suffering from an array of symptoms or injuries resulting from sports, motor vehicle accidents, acute and chronic ailments and more. In addition to chiropractic techniques, Dr. Bak has been trained in various therapies and modalities and takes a holistic, integrative approach to her practice.

Through Balance Health Group, Dr. Bak aims to continually promote, encourage and maintain high standards of conduct, practice, education and training within the health profession.

Dr. Brittanie Jonidi earned her Doctorate degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College after completing her Double Honours in Biology and Communications from Carleton University. Brittanie is dedicated to transforming lives through a unique approach to chiropractic care. Guided by a biopsychosocial model for health, she believes in the power of viewing each patient holistically—mind, body, and spirit. With a passion for restoring balance, Brittanie seamlessly integrates physical and emotional well-being into her practice. She specializes in treatments with a strong emphasis on rehabilitation. Her mission is not just to alleviate pain but to equip patients with the indispensable tools for self-management and proactive pain prevention.

Stephanie Gage

Stephanie is a Registered Massage Therapist who graduated from Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 1999.  She has been working in the Beaches ever since; 6 years in a multidisciplinary clinic and in 2005 opened Urban Calm Therapeutics.

She enjoys working with clients who have a wide range of symptoms and conditions.  From the weekend warrior, professional and elite athletes to women in various stages of pregnancy, whether it is a specific condition such as a sprain or strain, an  RSI, migraines/headaches, or simply the need to relax she uses various techniques that can take you from deep tissue massage to a very light touch depending on what’s needed. Stephanie enjoys a challenge.

In addition to being an RMT, Stephanie also has achieved her CranioSacral level III through the Upledger Institute.

Stephanie is very passionate and dedicated about her work and her clients overall health and wellbeing.

Kristina Pearsall

Kristina is a 2005 graduate from Centennial College’s 3 year advanced Massage Therapy Diploma program.
After family members were involved in a MVA, Kristina sought the knowledge and skills to better help with the rehabilitation following this accident. She discovered a true passion in massage therapy and it’s efficacy in helping to heal and rehabilitate soft tissues.
Decades of experience on the soccer field have given Kristina her unique insight into the mechanisms of injury and how to treat each individual with knowledge and skill. Kristina brings a variety of massage experience to the Balance Health Team, including sports massage, deep tissue, infant, and pre/post natal treatments.
In her free time Kristina is an avid photographer, runner and artist.

Nicole Nguyen

Nicole Nguyen

Nicole is a registered chiropodist in good standing with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario. She completed her undergraduate studies and received her Bachelor of Science (Honours) at the University of Waterloo. Following her undergraduate studies, she pursued her post-graduate studies at the Michener Institute where she graduated with an Advanced Diploma of Health Sciences in Chiropody.
Nicole has a passion for improving the foot health of her patients by creating individualized treatment plans and providing a holistic approach to the care of her patients. As a chiropodist, she practices her full scope and can assist her patients with diabetic foot care, wound care, callus/corn removal, wart removal, athlete’s foot, fungal toenails, ingrown toenails, arch and heel pain, foot deformities (e.g. bunions, hammer toes, etc), compression stockings, custom foot orthotics, and soft tissue surgery.

Agnes Budyn

Agnes is a registered physiotherapist who graduated from Utica University in 2012 with a
Doctorate of Physical Therapy. She has several years of experience working with clientele
having various injuries and orthopedic conditions. In 2019, she completed her certification in
Pelvic Health and started specializing in women’s health conditions. She has advanced training
in treating rectus diastasis, incontinence, prolapse, pelvic girdle pain, labour and delivery
preparation and pregnancy-related dysfunction.
In addition to being a busy mom of two adorable and lively children, Agnes also brings personal
experience to encourage, empower and support her patients. She continues to build her
knowledge and skills through active participation in courses and keeping up to date with the
latest research in physiotherapy practice.
